![]() ![]() ![]() While some people might find this a weird act, I find it to be the quality of a person with a big heart-an animal lover. My father would bring in sick/hurt animals, care for them, and once better, he would let them go back to their home. There would even be times when I would come home from school and go into the garage only to find different creatures such as a ferret in a cage. ![]() Mutts, who were left astray were brought into our home with open arms. Now, while we may have always been partial to Golden Retrievers, my father never discriminated against a pup who was in need of a home and just some good quality loving. My father considered dogs to not just be your friend but also your “buddy”, as he would call them. Whenever one passed away, it was off to the breeder to find a new one. I grew up in a house where having 6 dogs at once was the norm and 4-5 was one dog too little. It is a truth universally acknowledged that anyone who has ever known me knows that I have a deep love for dogs. ![]()
